IB Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) examines environmental challenges through an interdisciplinary approach combining natural sciences with social and economic perspectives. Students study ecosystems, biodiversity, resource management, pollution, climate change, and sustainability using systems thinking and collaborative investigation. The course develops environmental literacy and critical thinking skills essential for understanding and addressing complex environmental issues facing our planet.
